Tolleson Wealth Management has appointed Peter Chilian, an experienced industry figure, as its new president and chief investment officer. Chilian joined the firm’s board in 2024.

Following more than two decades at JP Morgan, Chilian’s most recent tenure was as managing director and head of Texas coverage at BDT & MSD Partners. 

Chilian is an active member of the Dallas community, serving on the boards of UT Southwestern Medical Foundation, SMU Cox School of Business, and Goodwill Industries of Dallas. He is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and holds an MBA in finance from the University of Texas, as well as a BBA from Southern Methodist University. He will also continue to serve on Tolleson’s board of directors.
